Ths committee on County Affairs will meet in a public hearing to discuss the following measures.

 

HB 5376        Anchía                                                
MUD bill. Relating to the powers of the Harris County Water Control and Improvement District No. 110; providing authority to impose a fee and impose fines and penalties.

HB 5377        Bucy                                                  
Enabling for first HJR.  Relating to the repeal of the additional ad valorem taxes imposed as a result of a sale or change of use of certain land.

HB 5378        González, Jessica                                      
Water bill #2. Relating to the San Antonio River Authority, following recommendations of the Sunset Advisory Commission; altering the terms of office of the members of the board of directors of the authority.

HB 5379        Bumgarner                                             
Identical companion to SB 7004.  Relating to training, preparedness, and funding for school safety and emergencies in public schools.

HB 5382        Ashby                                                 
Relating to the employment and licensing of border security officers employed by the Department of Public Safety.

HB 5383        Bonnen                                                
Relating to the San Jacinto River Authority, following recommendations of the Sunset Advisory Commission; specifying grounds for the removal of a member of the board of directors.

HB 5384        Campos                                                
"Duplicate Companion.  Relating to the rights and certification of public school educators, including financial and other assistance and waivers provided to public schools by the Texas Education Agency related to public school educators, methods of instruction provided in public schools, and certain allotments under the Foundation School Program."
