Pursuant to a notice posted on August 21, 2023, and a suspension of the 5-day posting rule on August 22, 2023, the House Committee on Higher Education, Subcommittee on test,  met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Bucy, at 9:00 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Bucy; and Burrows.

A quorum was present.

Representative Burrows moved that HB 8, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full committee with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Ayes:                           Representatives Bucy; Burrows (2).

Nays:                           None (0).

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).
