The Senate confirmed all nominees as reported by the Committee on Nominations.

The following bills were passed on the Local and Uncontested Bills Calendar:

Relating to the franchise tax treatment of certain broadband grants made for the purposes of broadband deployment in this state.

Relating to the investment authority of certain state agencies and the confidentiality of certain information related to those investments.

Relating to the administration, coordination, and support of public higher education, including the public junior college state finance program and a Financial Aid for Swift Transfer (FAST) program to enable certain students to enroll at no cost to the student in dual credit courses offered by certain public institutions of higher education.

Relating to early voting by mail by any qualified voter and to the repeal of certain criminal offenses concerning the solicitation and distribution of an application to vote by mail.
